Novaja.lv serves the Russian-speaking community in Zemgale (Latvia), providing  content in Russian.

Founded in 2005 and acquired by SIA JK Media Group in 2017, news portal Novaja.lv has consolidated its position as important news source in Zemgale. The reach extends beyond the boundaries of Jelgava, Latvia's fourth largest city, and covers the surrounding area within a  radius of about 50 km.

Additionally, this portal recognizes the importance of training the next generation of journalists. Its committed to attracting and mentoring young people aspiring to  careers in journalism, providing them with unique opportunities to gain real-world experience and contribute to the field.
