Fokus.ba is an independent portal that was founded on 17 March 2014 and entered in the Sarajevo court register. Since its inception, the portal has played a vital role in the democratisation of society by informing and empowering citizens, and has remained objective and impartial.
The portal's goals are to put pressure on the authorities at all levels to speed up mandatory reforms for EU integration; support freedom of expression and independent media by producing high-quality content; and raise public awareness of the need for quality investigative journalism. According to Ipsos, one of the world's leading marketing research companies, its reports have shown that Fokus.ba is the second most read portal in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
