Vanja Stokic is a human rights journalist, based in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Since 2009 she has worked with eTrafika.net, Diskriminacija.ba, Press RS, Analiziraj.ba, Mediacentar, Doma.edu.mk.

Dedicated to reporting on human rights, with a special focus on the rights of women, children, people with disabilities, the LGBT community, migrants and the environment, she has won several significant awards. Among them are the regional EU Prize for Investigative Journalism, two Srđan Aleksić Awards, the UNICEF Award, the Fra Ma Fu Award.

Vanja is the co-author of the documentary film "Brother", which won more than 30 awards at film festivals in Europe, Asia and Africa. She is one of the founders of the portal eTrafika.net and the first Balkan photo stock, named Fotobaza.ba. In addition to reporting, she is a trainer of journalism and mentor to young journalists.
