Sandali Handagama is a business journalist from Colombo, Sri Lanka. 

She currently works as a deputy managing editor for financial policy and regulation at CoinDesk, and is an alumna of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. 

She has been published in other noted news media outlets like Bloomberg, The Guardian, The Nation etc. She is a 2023 Pulitzer Center grantee; a Grantee of Modern Slavery Unveiled 2023 by Journalismfund Europe, and a 2020 recipient of an Overseas Press Club fellowship for business reporting. She reports on the intersection of policy, business and the environment.
