Mina Kirkova is a writer and contributing editor with Deutsche Welle's Bulgarian service where she has been a part of the team since the beginning of 2022. 

Mina gained experience at a number of Bulgarian media outlets, including the TV channel BIT where she worked as an international news editor and the first Bulgarian fact-checking platform, Factcheck.bg where she is still part of the team in the role of Audio-visual editor. Her main areas of interest are disinformation research, open-source intelligence and fact-checking, politics and international relations.
