Daniel is a Romanian journalist, co-founder of RISE Project Bucharest.
He is an investigative journalism platform affiliated with OCCRP (Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project).
He began his journalistic career in the late 90’s. Over the 20 years, he has collaborated with several publications, but has also been part of cross-border projects, such as: PanamaPapers, the Ericsson/Romania case (OCCRP) or the Harvard-Ikea deal, the takeover of large areas of forests on corrupt sectors in Romania (OCCRP).
He has been constantly focused on topics related to corruption around natural resources, tax evasion schemes or money laundering.
