Andres Gomez is philologist with master's degrees in Holocaust, Genocide and Massive Violence, and Cultural Anthropology.

He has been part of El Turbion since 2009 and reports on socio-environmental conflicts and the impacts of Colombian internal armed conflict among indigenous peoples and women.
