Adriaan Cartuyvels is a Belgian freelance journalist.

Adriaan Cartuyvels (b. 1999) lives, reads and writes from Brussels. His work focuses on culture and politics. Sometimes these themes are far apart, often they merge seamlessly. To understand the world better, or at least to make an attempt at it, after a detour into economics (KUL) and journalism (KUL), he started the master's program Conflict & Development (UGent) in 2022. His work has already appeared in Knack, VICE, Different Class and MO* magazine.
