Abby Young-Powell is an independent British journalist based in Berlin. She writes about issues including the environment, social justice and women for publications including the Guardian, Positive News magazine and Devex.

Abby is also co-host of the radio show As We See It on Refuge Worldwide, where she discusses different aspects of Berlin's history, culture and community on a monthly basis. She previously worked as a staff journalist at the Guardian in London. Abby has more than a decade's experience in journalism and her reporting has taken her around the world.
