In recent years, awareness of climate issues has risen significantly, and the use of private jets has become a matter of public interest.
Just a four hours flight in a private jet leaves footprint equivalent to the carbon footprint of an average European person in the course of a year. The environmental damage of flying private aircrafts is hardly a symbolic topic, contrary to the rhetoric of lobbies and certain politicians.
Certain facilitators in Brussels discretely helped to soften the regulation in this sector, enhancing social and environmental injustice for millions of Europeans, and fuelling their resentment.
We saw this during citizen's protests in France, Germany and other EU countries. Across Europe, NGOs and citizens are beginning to protest or to track down billionaires and their jets on social networks. We Report travelled through Europe to investigate on a very private industry for which the sky is no limit.
