Lara Richir is a freelance editor, researcher and videographer.

Lara studied Arabistics and Islam Studies at Ugent and took a War Studies and Diplomacy course at King's College London. She then took the abridged course in international video journalism at Thomas More. She worked for the production houses Borgerhoff & Lamberigts and De Mensen, among others. She currently works at VRT NWS as video editor and editor-in-chief. She made the reportage 'Eunice Street'
