Nacho Calle is the president of the Spanish Association of Investigative Journalists (API)

Nacho Calle is the deputy director of Infolibre, as well as the president and a founding member of the Association of Investigative Journalists (API). He is widely regarded as one of the leading figures in investigative and data journalism in Spain. He has participated in some of the largest international journalistic investigations of the last decade, including the Panama Papers, which won the Pulitzer Prize in 2017, the Bahamas Leaks and the Paradise Papers. In Spain, he was recognised as Journalist of the Year by the Madrid Press Association. Previously, he was deputy director at Público and Maldita.es. He has been a university professor for a decade. He currently teaches at the Open University of Catalonia and the Isabel I University.
