BRUSSELS - On 7 March, Journalismfund's General Assembly held its annual meeting. Among a variety of other matters, two new directors were appointed.

Journalismfund Europe is pleased to announce two new members to the governing body: Luc Tayart de Borms and Alia Papageorgiou join the board. Wim Coessens stepped down as chairman and is replaced by Mehmet Koksal.

Hans Wolters resigned as director after eight years. He played a prominent role in further professionalising the organisation.

Climate Disinformation Database Launch in Europe


PARIS – The European Fact-Checking Standards Network, in association with participating member organisations, has launched the Climate Facts Europe database, supported by the European Climate Foundation.

Impact: Stricter Belgian Fuel Export Standards Being Enforced After Investigation


BRUSSELS – Following the cross-border investigation by Apache, De Groene Amsterdammer (Research Collective Spit) and The Continent which was published in January this year, stricter export standards for fuel export are due to be enforced in Belgium.
