Julia Molins is a freelance photojournalist and documentary photographer based in Spain.

She is a freelance photojournalist and documentary photographer specialising in human rights, drug policy, harm reduction, access to healthcare, the prison system, and forced displacement.

She collaborates with the Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun as a fixer and researcher in Spain, participating in the preproduction and development of reports, as well as working as a photojournalist correspondent.
Her work has been published in national and international media such as Asahi Shimbun, The Lancet, El País, El País México, Diari Ara, and Kamchatka, among others. She is also a regular contributor to La Directa.
In recent years, she has worked between Mexico and Spain, where she served as head of documentary photography for the humanitarian aid project Mobile Surgery International (NGO), based in Oaxaca, Mexico. From both countries, she continues to develop visual storytelling projects focused on human rights violations
