Daniela Schröder is a Hamburg-based independent writer and editor.

She has worked as EU correspondent for the English service of German news agency DPA in Brussels where she also covered EU and Belgian affairs for German-language print and online media. Prior to that, Daniela worked in the European Parliament’s press department.

In Germany, she was a freelance correspondent for the Associated Press (AP), covering Northern Bavaria, and was trained as reporter and news editor at a regional daily in Bremen.
