The new high-tech research vessel the Belgica is sailing to the polar regions for the first time to document and investigate the effects of climate change in the oceans. Journalists Arno Van Rensbergen and Johannes De Bruycker went on board for a week.

Factcheck.Vlaanderen is an online platform that uses artificial intelligence to detect disinformation and polarisation so that fact-checkers can verify and combat it.  

Apache Local was a local journalism project in which news site Apache explored four themes with the help of local citizens and journalists.

Sonderland was a journalism production house that produced pieces for other media outlets, focusing on one theme for an entire year. In 2019, the theme was “shelter” as a basic need.

In this project, Chase provided grants and coaching to young journalists so they could create digital stories about social change in urban communities.

FactRank is a free tool that automatically filters out statements from Dutch-language texts worthy of fact-checking.
