About the project
The project provided a localised versions – for Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro as primary target countries - of an existing three-part series of self-paced online learning courses on environmental reporting. Localisation meant both the adaptation of the existing content to the local language as well as the use of local examples and case studies, highlighting local experts, and using visuals that would resonate with local audiences.
The course is available on Thomson’s Online Learning Platform JournalismNow.
The course was lunched on 28 July and by 14 September already gathered 286 registrations, which proves there is an interest for training materials in the local language in the WB region. Because of language proximity, this course can also be used by media professionals in Croatia.
