BRUSSELS/AMSTERDAM — Scientific publications, leaked company data and government data suggest that industry is doing everything possible to deliberately put up a fog curtain around these ultra short PFAS.

We have no idea how many PFAS companies such as 3M and Chemours are dumping into the environment. Extensive research exposes the existence of "dark PFAS": countless variants of the forever chemicals that no one knows about and no one measures, but which are pernicious to the environment and health. Especially ultra short PFAS, the toxic smallest brothers of the PFAS family, are found massively in the environment.
