Join us for an introductory one-hour webinar on 16 September at 10 a.m. CET to learn more about a new programme, launched as part of the ongoing PluPro project administered by Journalismfund Europe and Transitions.

Do you work for an independent European media outlet? Are you looking for new approaches to monetizing your content and services? And funds to test out new ideas? Then join us in this online session.

Hear more about:

  • The basics of design thinking and how this innovative approach can help you generate new ideas and create prototypes.
  • How you can apply for small grants to test these prototypes and receive mentoring during their implementation.
  • How independent media have already benefited from this approach.
  • How you can participate in two, in-person workshops (in Sarajevo and Sofia).

We will also have time to answer questions on any aspects of the programme.

Eligible countries: EU member states and participating countries in the Creative Europe Programme are eligible but we are placing an emphasis on countries with a medium- or high-risk rating according to the Media Pluralism Monitor. In particular, we are targeting: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain and Ukraine.
