Yemisi Akinbobola, Paul Bradshaw and Ogechi Ekeanyawu have received the CNN African Journalist Award 2016 in the category Sport Reporting with their investigation 'Who extracts the value of Nigerian football players'. The investigation was supported with a Connecting Continents grant of €6,300.
The ceremony took place in Johannesburg, South Africa.
