Italy, Denmark, Latvia, Belgium, Germany, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Ireland, Romania, Spain – this round Journalismfund.eu got applications from many European countries. This is interesting and encouraging as it shows that the news about the research grants has spread widely in various journalism communities.
All coordinating applicants have now received an e-mail confirmation of their application, and in some cases lacking documents have been requested. As soon as they will be received and at the latest on Tuesday the 27th, the applications will be forwarded to the jury.
The decision in this round of applications will be shared with the applicants on October 5th.
The next call for applications has a deadline on January 10th 2012.
