EIF developed an efficient tool to investigate West African mining industry.
The team scrapped data in West Africa and managed to fetch more data for a total of 23 African countries and secure partnership to promote this tool further.
This extension of the already existing "West Africa Mining Platform" still compiles cross national data of all mining licences with geographic data concerning sensitive ecosystems and inhabited areas, but through the whole of the African extend.
