Woxx is a weekly print publication in Luxembourg. Since its creation in 1988, our editorial focus on social, political, cultural, feminist and environmental topics from a left-wing perspective has remained unchanged.
They are a team of seven journalists and editors, one layout designer, one coordinator and one secretary. They operate with a flat hierarchy. All staff earn an equal salary. The cooperative is democratic by design, with the readership owning its shares.
They are a self-managed team and decisions are made collectively. Editorial power lies with the journalists, while financial and structural decisions are made with the managing board. Given the size of the team, tasks are divided between everyone, resulting in a diverse range of skills, from reporting and accounting to IT and design.
