VersPers is a training and publication platform for journalists.
It focuses on publishing serious and in-depth stories. Both starting journalists and professionals get the chance to create beautiful journalistic products and show them to a wide audience.
Within the institute for investigative journalism Open Eyes which is designed for journalism graduates and other professionals, VersPers offers training to aspiring journalists. Every year a maximum of 20 participants attend the training, this year we have a group of 16 people ranging in age from 19 to 54 years old. The hands-on trainings are given in Dutch and English in the latest investigative methods and skills needed to cooperate across borders.
