Ukrainian Witness is an independent media project established on February 25, 2022, to provide a unique perspective on the war in Ukraine and counter Russian propaganda.
The outlet documents the realities of war, highlighting war crimes and humanitarian issues while disseminating verified information via social media and international news outlets. Its content is widely used by major global media outlets such as CNN, CBS, Fox News and MSNBC.
Over the past three years, Ukrainian Witness has produced more than 400 documentary videos and over 1,000 pieces of social media content, achieving over 75 million views on YouTube. The project has a global reach, with publications in over 25 countries, and is run by a dedicated team of over 10 editors, journalists and technical experts. Its target audience includes Ukrainians seeking reliable information, as well as members of the international community, including journalists, analysts and policymakers who support Ukraine.
