Mykolaivski Novyny is one of the oldest independent multimedia outlets in southern Ukraine.
The first issue of the newspaper was published on 20 April 1995. To date, it has published 4,100 issues. It was the first publication in the Mykolaiv region to be founded by a team of journalists. Mykolaivski Novyny has been available online since 2000.
Its mission is to inform the public about social and political events and to mediate between those who know and those who want to know. Following the military aggression, the goal of the media has been adjusted to meet the information needs of communities in the frontline territory in the face of social challenges.
