A website about sustainability in business and private life. Articles, interviews, reports, inspirational stories and information on what to avoid.

The Ekonews website focusing on business and sustainability was founded in 2020 by two long-time economic journalists Martina Patockova and Veronika Nemcová.

Today, our editorial staff includes about ten people who regularly write for Ekonews. We focus on a wide range of topics related to the climate crisis and sustainability for both companies and individuals. For companies, we bring information on legislation and how to cope with it, best practices of companies that have already gone through the transition. Then we offer topics to help people in their daily efforts to be more environmentally friendly.

We have grown from zero, there is no investor behind us, and today we have 100,000 unique readers a month. Our language is Czech, our audience is mostly Czech and Slovak.
