Veerle Devos (born 1972) (aka Vos) is a Belgian journalist and writer living in Portugal.

She studied History at Ghent University and has been working as a journalist for over 10 years, focusing on urbanism, design, art, tourism and human interest. She worked for diverse media outlets such as DAMn° magazine and The Bulletin. She founded Use-It, an alternative tourism agency for young travellers, and established the Office for Urban Reporting (O.U.R.), a Brussels-based research and production house focusing on urbanity in the 21st century.

She has spent the last few years dividing her time between the bustling capital, Lisbon, and the peaceful, beautiful cork-covered hills of the Ribatejo region.

In the city, she acts as a guide, taking curious visitors on tours. In the countryside, she organises safaris and guided walks through nature, and offers accommodation in guesthouses.

You may know her as the author of the travel and photography book 'To Die For Portugal', which many Portugal lovers count among their favourites.
