Vanessa Schlesier is a freelance TV-journalist based in Berlin.

Her work ranges from breaking news war-reporting to investigative human interest stories or emotional portraits.

Vanessa holds a Master degree in political science from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich, graduating from the Axel-Springer Journalism School in Berlin. She took a course in investigative journalism at Columbia Journalism School, is a fellow of the Quandt Foundation and was named one of Germany's Top 30 Journalists under 30.
