Tony Mouawad (°1995) is a documentary filmmaker and photographer from Lebanon, who lives in Brussels.
He has more than 12 years of experience in the film industry. As a producer and assistant director, he has worked on numerous projects in Lebanon and Europe, winning awards at Cannes, IDFA, IFFR, Film Festival Gent and Cairo International Film Festival.
Over the past five years, Tony has been making independent documentaries, telling stories that highlight social issues and give a voice to marginalised communities. As a photographer, he works seamlessly in both digital and analogue formats, using visual storytelling as a powerful tool for connection, empathy and advocacy.
