Tommy Trenchard is an independent photographer and writer based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Since 2012 he has been documenting humanitarian and environmental stories from over 40 countries across Africa and further afield for many of the world’s leading magazines and non-profits. He covers a broad range of topics, from stories of crisis, conflict and social injustice to stories of positive change and the people driving it.
