Thomas Bart is a freelance journalist and researcher with over 15 years of experience investigating the exploitation of hydrocarbons and other natural resources, mainly in Africa (Gabon, Uganda, Tanzania, etc.) and Europe.

His work focuses mainly, but not exclusively, on the practices of multinational corporations and their consequences, covering a wide range of issues, including human rights violations, environmental destruction, corruption, illegal activities, and the broader causes and impacts of climate change. Before that, he worked with NGOs addressing issues of neo-colonialism, development aid, military presence abroad, and the practices of multinational corporations.
