An award-winning journalist, Tess is deputy editor and investigations editor for a leading UK environmental title, ENDS Report, with multiple stories also published in the national press.
In recent years she has written investigations on water companies selling contaminated fertiliser to farmers, lobbying of UK MPs by chemical firms, earned national pick-up exposing how use of a bee-killing pesticide was green-lit by the UK government, and been the investigations editor for the agenda-setting God’s Own Dark Waters investigation, which exposed how a town in North Yorkshire became the most ‘forever chemical’ polluted place in the UK.
She joined ENDS Report in 2021, and specialises in stories about the natural environment and biodiversity. She previously worked for the BBC in London.
