Sofian Philip Naceur is a freelance journalist and former Egypt correspondent, now working part-time for the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation’s North Africa Office in Tunis, Tunisia.    

He mostly writes on Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia and migration and EU border externalization policies in North Africa as well as border violence in the region for media outlets in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Tunisia.
