Selene Magnolia Gatti is an Italian award-winning visual journalist based in Berlin and Northern Italy.

Her work spans questions of environmental and social justice, food production, migration, human rights, identity, and contemporary political issues. Since 2023 she is represented by Panos Pictures photo agency. With a background as emergency nurse, volunteer medical personnel in humanitarian crises, and academically qualified linguist, she has worked for a number of international publications and collaborates with several non-profits.

Some of Selene's photographic work on intensive food production is featured in the book 'Hidden - Animals in the Anthropocene', awarded ‘Photography Book of the Year’ by POY (2021). Her long-term project Zor was exhibited at Visa Pour L’Image 2022. In 2023, she was selected as the Senior Fellow at WeAnimals Media agency.
