Romane Bonnemé is an investigative journalist at RTBF.

She works in the Décrypte team (data-journalism and fact-checking) and has led several investigations, including "PFAS: le silence coupable" (with Emmanuel Morimont, 2023) revealing the extent of PFAS contamination in Wallonia and Brussels which received the Prix de la Presse 2023 Belfius.

Before joining RTBF in 2022, she worked at Le Monde and La Libre Belgique where she won the Prix 2023 du Parlement de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles for her investigation called “Trafic et pollution, atmosphère lourde en Mer du Nord” (with Valentin Dauchot and Gaëtan Gras, 2023) on Belgium’s struggle to impose effective controls on maritime pollution.
