Nico Schmidt is a German freelance journalist focused on AI and works for Investigate Europe.
His articles have been published in media such as Die Zeit, Der Spiegel, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Republik and Deutschlandfunk among others. He is currently an AI Accountability Fellow at the Pulitzer Center. His work has been on the Longlist for the German Henri-Nannen-Preis and on the Shortlist for the German Reporterpreis. He has given workshops and trainings in among other places Berlin, Brussels, The Hague and Oxford.
