Moussa Aksar is a journalist based in Niamey.

He is the director of the fortnightly investigative newspaper L'Evénement and secretary of CENOZO (Cellule Norbert Zongo), an organisation of West African investigative journalists. He has extensive experience reporting on corruption, drug trafficking, insecurity and politics in Niger and the wider Sahel region.

He is a Reuters contributor and represented Niger on the Panama Papers investigative team.
