Minja Šukovic is a multimedia editor for Nezavisne novine in Bosnia Herzegovina.

After graduating from the Secondary School of Technology with a specialisation in Graphic Design, she went on to earn a degree in International Relations from the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Banja Luka in 2015.

She began her professional journey in journalism at the age of 17, starting as a city news reporter before progressing to social affairs and later taking on the role of culture editor. She has gained significant on-the-ground reporting experience over the years, helping her to develop a deep understanding of media dynamics and the importance of direct, accurate communication.

She currently works as the Multimedia Editor at Nezavisne novine, overseeing the planning, creation and execution of digital and multimedia content. She is responsible for managing and producing social media content, maintaining digital platforms and producing and hosting podcasts, with the aim of strengthening the outlet’s multimedia presence.

Since 2016, she has also served as an advisor to the director of NES Radio, helping to integrate and coordinate content across the media group's print, radio and digital channels.

She is deeply committed to objective journalism and to promoting the core values of the profession. She strives to foster a media environment that is rooted in integrity, truth and public service. She strives to contribute to the continued development of responsible media and meaningful storytelling through collaboration and innovation.
