Marc Hoogsteyns (°1961) is a Belgian journalist who has been living and working in Africa for 25 years.

In 2014 he decided to set up a small press agency in the African Great Lakes region together with colleagues Adeline Umutoni and Chrispin Mvano. They work together with Burundese newspaper Iwacu. Hoogsteyns also works for AP and Reuters, and often provides opinion pieces for Al Jazeera
