Manos Papageorgiou is a social anthropologist based in Athens, Greece.
He holds an integrated master’s degree in cinema studies and a master in social and cultural anthropology. His early research interests focused on representation theories and nationalism.
Later, Manos explored the relationship between the state and the environment through field research on agricultural subsidies in Crete. He has worked as a researcher and field project manager for an oral history archive and contributes articles to Greek journals and newspapers.
