Maite Vermeulen (The Netherlands) is one of the founding editors of the online media platform De Correspondent.
Maite covered development, conflict and migration stories all over the world and lived in Lagos, Nigeria. She previously studied Liberal Arts & Sciences at University College in Utrecht and Conflict, Security and Development at King's College London. Before this, she worked as an editor at nrc.next.
