Lynn Cornelis (1989) studied Language & Literature at the University of Antwerp and is a freelance journalist. She travelled through South America several times, including to Mexico.

Through her travels and her studies in Spanish she came into contact with the problems of feminicidios. Her love for South America goes hand in hand with the urge to address the social problems of the region.
