Lasse Sørensen is a Danish journalist based in Copenhagen.

Working primarily as a Nordic correspondent for American outlet Courthouse News, he also participates in investigations involving countries in the Global South. He is the founding editor-in-chief of The Postcolonial.

Lasse has in-depth knowledge of Southeast Asia as a region and is particularly interested in Indonesia.

He has a BA in Indonesian/Southeast Asian Studies (University of Copenhagen), a MA in the Psychology of Language with electives in video journalism (University of Copenhagen + Monash University) and an M.Sc. in Investigative Journalism (University of Gothenburg).
