Ismini Balale is a journalist and communications professional based in Athens, Greece.
From 2021 to 2024, she worked as a reporter at Voria.gr in Thessaloniki, producing stories on social, political, and environmental issues, with a particular focus on migration, human rights, and the climate crisis.
She recently completed a Schuman traineeship at the European Parliament Liaison Office in Athens, where she contributed to communication campaigns, social media management, media relations, and stakeholder engagement.
Ismini holds a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Technologies: Law and Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Media from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her work focuses on investigative and environmental journalism, human rights, data storytelling, and the intersection of technology, communication, and public policy.
