Farhiya Khalid is a Somali-Danish journalist, historian and podcaster.
Since 2014, Farhiya has contributed to several Danish and international publications, including Information, the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, Al Jazeera English, the New Statesman and the Norwegian newspaper Ny Tid. She has reported extensively on Danish immigration politics, social issues and labour market policy, as well as foreign policy. She is currently the editor of the podcast series Young & Rejected, which examines the plight of unaccompanied underage asylum seekers in Danish deportation camps.
Farhiya Khalid holds a Master's degree in Journalism and History from Roskilde University and is also a board member of Responsible Press, an association that maps representation in the Danish media.
