Eva Schram is a journalist from the Netherlands, currently covering the financial markets as a writer and columnist at Het Financieele Dagblad.

From 2016 through 2022 she worked as a freelance correspondent in Silicon Valley. Before that, she was an investigative reporter for the multimedia platform OneWorld.nl, covering globalisation and sustainability issues. She worked on a research project into ISDS, together with Frank Mulder and Adriana Homolva (www.aboutisds.org). The project was nominated in the Digital category of De Loep, the annual prize for investigative journalism in the Netherlands and Flanders.

Most of her investigative work at OneWorld focussed on multinational companies and the way their business influenced developing countries and emerging markets, from a social and environmental perspective. In addition, she covered the migration crisis in Europe for several years. The story 'A single ticket to Europe' and the accompanying interactive production, which she worked on with Sanne Terlingen, was nominated for a Mercur Award in 2015 for the category 'Feature article of the year'.

Before OneWorld, she was managing editor for the Dutch news blog Sargasso.nl, one of the oldest blogs in the country, renowned for its cutting-edge take on journalism. It introduced live blogging in the Netherlands in 2004 and put data-driven journalism on the map in the country. She also worked as a research assistant to Professor Jeroen Smit at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. The focus of the research was entrepreneurial journalism. She has also worked with Rosalind Franklin Fellow Dr Tamara Witschge on a chapter about entrepreneurial journalism for the book Journalism Culture in the Netherlands (revised edition).

In 2014 she received a grant from Fonds Bijzondere Journalistieke Projecten (Fund for Special Journalism Projects) to research ways in which journalists can use the deep web. The project can be found on www.nieuwejournalistiek.nl.
