Erdmann Wingert is a German editor.

Born in 1936, he worked as an editor for Stern and Zeit Magazine. He has written several books and countless long-form reports, and has been involved in multiple film productions. He served as chair of the Hansel-Mieth Prize jury for eleven years. He currently lives in Hamburg and works as chief text editor at Zeitenspiegel Reportagen.
