Eleana Kazila is an environmentalist based in Greece.

Her scientific work is on conservation biology and the management of protected areas. As a freelance researcher, she collaborates with scientific foundations, organisations and universities to advance conservation efforts for endangered species of fauna.

Many years now Eleana uses photography as a tool to connect scientific knowledge, traditional practices and environmental policy. Additionally, she has designed and implemented outdoor environmental education programs, both in nature and within museum education frameworks. Since 2024, she has served as a board member of the Dragonfly Conservation Europe foundation.
