Dimitar Stoyanov is an investigative journalist and researcher in the field of disinformation and fake news. He is part of the bird.bg team.
He has been engaged in investigative journalism since 2006. He previously worked as a crime and court reporter since the turn of the new millennium. As an investigative journalist, he is focused on political corruption, organized crime, crimes against the environment and misuse of European funds. Alone or with Bird's team, Stoyanov is the winner of various international awards for journalism.
Stoyanov has master's degrees in anthropology and philosophy and law. He is a doctoral student at the Faculty of Philosophy of Sofia University.
